It's nice to meet you...

I welcome you to stop in from time to time to read, follow, and utterly enjoy my not-so-random ramblings. All in all, I understand that less is more and more is a bore. As such, I'll do my best to "tweet the deets" (twitter speak) in a reasonable manner.
You're more than welcome to contact me, leave a comment, or just silently lurk. If you have any suggestions or ideas, I'd love to hear from you!
Although I'm new to the world of cancer, I have undergone two surgeries and numerous visits with specialists. I read, research, and ask a TON of questions. If you have any questions of your own, or would like to talk, I'm more than willing to help.
Remember, this site is for those of us who are not Lance Armstrong...

Good day to you all, stay tuned!

As a warrior, my seat was front-and-center. I was tossed into the carnivorous pit of chemotherapy and it's demons. I was poisoned and weakened.

As a warrior, I have emerged.

I am scarred, marred, and battle-hardened, but I am alive.

Previous to this post, I had not contributed to this blog since October 12 for one reason. Nausea.
Although the physical effects of chemotherapy are readily visible, it is the internal battle that is hardest fought.
As with numerous other sights and smells, my brain formed an unpleasant association to the chemotherapy and this blog. Although it may be difficult to understand, I would become overridden with extreme nausea anytime I saw the homepage to my blog.

Since the conclusion of my treatments on November 13, I have made several efforts to update this site. Until today, each has met the same fate - instant nausea. As a matter of fact, I am starting to feel dizzy...it's time to incinerate the proverbial bridge linking two inanimate objects in my head.
